Investacorp's New Pioneers Program

Established in 2018 by Investacorp, Inc. the New Pioneers Program awards scholarships and paid internships to college students seeking a career in the financial services industry.

Application Process Overview

The New Pioneers Program funds two $10,000 annual scholarships. One is available to the children or grandchildren of Investacorp financial advisors and the other to the children or grandchildren of Investacorp advisors’ clients.

The New Pioneers Program complements Investacorp’s Multigenerational Consulting Solutions (MCS) platform, including its mission to prepare the next generation of independent financial advisors with the skills needed to provide professional and experienced financial advice. The scholarships will directly help foster the growth and development of new financial advisors.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

  • Enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university
  • Pursuing a Financial Services career, reflected by a declared major, minor or evidenced in another manner.
  • Maintain GPA of a 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
  • Student is a U.S. citizen.
  • All parties are in good standing with Investacorp, Inc.

To be Considered, Please Complete the Following:

  • Complete and sign application to include permission for Investacorp to use your name and photo in future New Pioneers Program marketing efforts.
  • Provide all college and university transcripts as well as proof of U.S. citizenship
  • Write a 500-word essay detailing why you’re pursuing a career in financial services and the impact you intend to make within the financial community.
  • Submit application by December 1, 2019. One-time scholarship winners will be announced in mid-December to coincide with the start of the spring semester.

Tax Information:
Prior to an award distribution, applicants must complete tax form W-9. Scholarship recipients will receive tax form 1099 for the tax year coinciding with the award disbursement date.
